A Guide to Lancaster Coffee Shops
Nestled inside Desert Vineyard Church, Virtue is one of the most aesthetically gifted coffee shops in Lancaster, given its warm earthy tones, minimalistic white and mural-graced walls, chic furnishings, and tantalizing aroma of gourmet java that’s been diligently roasted on-site. The attention to detail that has gone into designing this adorable abode makes it an easy go-to for long-overdue coffee dates and group bible studies. Keep in mind, the store is closed some days of the week, so consider checking its hours of operation before visiting.
Boss Chic Coffee Bar
Instagram connoisseurs of cuteness ever on the prowl for all things pretty, search no further than Boss Chic’s eye-catching pink facade, which houses a dreamy ambiance showcasing plenty more pink surfaces, flower bouquets, posh chairs, touches of greenery, and art-adorned walls. Whether you’d like to settle into a cozy corner and appreciate the company of loved ones over a steamy cup of joe, peruse through row upon row of cute gifts, or get lost in the pages of your favorite novel, whatever the case may be, Boss Chic has got you covered.
What this adorable little drive-thru and walk-up java outpost situated near and dear to the heart of town may lack in size, it more than makes up for with wholesome hospitality, photogenic appeal, a dreamy little common area where guests can mingle with friends and try some fantastic breakfast fare, and last but certainly not least, thoughtfully crafted coffee beverages made using freshly roasted beans.
Snuggled amongst the storefronts lining an unassuming strip mall on 20th Street, Coffee Bloom is a relaxed hangout with warm tones, gorgeous flower wall murals, and several seating arrangements. The friendly folks behind the counter maintain a tempting selection of signature coffee drinks like the White Chocolate Mocha, as well as scrumptious pastries including apple fritters and cinnamon rolls.
Founded in Southern Oregon in 1992 by dairy farmer brothers Dane and Travis Boersma, Dutch Bros. Coffee is the country’s largest privately held, drive-thru coffee company. For those java purists bewildered that I could include as large a chain as Dutch on this list of Lancaster coffee shops, please remember, they’re not very common elsewhere in the United States, so for visitors or newcomers, this energy-rich oasis in the sun will undoubtedly prove a sweet treat.
From early mornings to late nights, some heavenly beverages you may spot being served out of their pull-up window include specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, freezes, teas, and Blue Rebel energy drinks that customers can infuse with their favorite flavors.
Every cup of Dutch Bros. coffee is handcrafted – roasted by hand in the Pacific Northwest, blended by hand, and then ground and pulled by hand, ristretto-style. One more observation worth noting, their employees are relentlessly kind, attentive, and cheerful, at all times, never failing to look like they’re having the moment of their lives while on shift; super fun vibes.
