A Guide to Jackson Coffee Shops
Cowboy Coffee Co.
Near and dear to Town Square, this hallmark among Jackson coffee shops provides guests with thoughtfully brewed and crafted java made from gourmet beans that are roasted in-house daily. Moreover, the interior features cozy Western elements, art-adorned walls, plenty of seating, and speedy WiFi for those looking to get some work done. When it comes to food, Cowboy Coffee has breakfast croissants and scrumptious pastries, along with made-to-order sandwiches, paninis, and soups.
Snake River Roasting Company
Just steps from Town Square, Snake River roasts award-winning coffees that reflect the spirit and culture of Wyoming, be it a 6:30 a.m. morning Glory cup, that campfire Jetboil brew, or simply a pre-work mug reminiscent of days in the Tetons. Their multi-story cafe carries a bright modern ambiance underscored by white walls, teal accents, light wooden floorboards and furnishings, touches of greenery, an upstairs loft area, and trendy light fixtures.
Persephone Bakery
Nestled in an adorable little white cottage, Persephone is run by a dynamic husband and wife duo who started out selling baked goods wholesale and supplying the surrounding top restaurants and markets with fresh hearth-baked breads. Fast forward a few years and they together opened up one of the most aesthetically gifted cafes around, by way of its artisan furnishings, soft earthy tones set against minimalistic walls, natural sunlight, tree-dappled outdoor patio, and mountains of delectable fresh-baked goods to be found at the front counter.
Aside from offering organic, locally roasted coffee, Persephone collaborates with over 20 farms, dairies, and ranches to source sustainable, all-natural ingredients ranging from honey and yogurt to greens and produce to poultry and beef. In other words, the menu brims with an authentic taste of the flavorful flora and fauna of the American West.
Inversion Cafe
Just off the main drag and snuggled amidst the cute storefronts lining Pearl Avenue, Inversion is an intimately sized yet very well and aesthetically put-together gem – if you have a thing for organizing pantry goods in jars/containers and making it all look drop-dead gorgeous, step right in for some ever-appreciated inspo. The friendly folks behind the counter here are also known for making cold-pressed organic juices, adaptogenic lattes, and organic coffee drinks as well as healthy foods like sandwiches, soups, salads, and bone broth.
Picnic

Picnic’s stunning design elements pay tribute to the personality and peace of the Tetons by channeling the worn leather of saddles, faded denim of the JH uniform, and splintered beauty of fallen timber. Mix in some modern architectural notes, natural sunlight, and an abundance of seating arrangements and you have one exceptional work environment that’s an easy go-to for daytime meetings with colleagues, long overdue coffee dates, or solo study sessions.
Should you meander on in at the tail end of an adventurous day in the wilderness, feel free to take a load off with a crisp craft beer or glass of wine.
