Awaken Coffee House
This non-profit gem among North Garland coffee shops is housed within Lavon Drive Baptist Church and exists primarily to support charity and make a difference on a global scale. They’re well on their way considering just a few months after opening in December 2020, the team here managed to provide over 20,000 meals to kids in need!
All proceeds support Deeply Rooted Grounds, an organization building feeding centers and homes for children in Nicaragua. The Vive Coffee
The Vive is a coffee shop, venue, and ministry of Livingway Church with the mission of bringing life and hope to the community and world. They serve exclusively Dallas-based HOPE Coffee, a Christian-owned company that exists to serve great coffee and to share the gospel through servant-evangelism projects in Honduras and Mexico.
1418 Coffee
Nestled and recently opened inside Springcreek Church is 1418, a humble java abode featuring specialty drinks such as a lavender and vanilla Purple Haze and white hot chocolate and cayenne pepper enriched Sgt. Pepper (kudos to those who understood the rock n’ roll references). They also maintain a tantalizing selection of sandwiches, pastries, soft drinks, and more grab-n-go items.
