River Coffee Company
Nestled inside Renew Life Church, River Coffee Company offers guests a relaxed hangout with warm tones and several wooden tabletops; the staff similarly maintains a tempting selection of coffee beverages, cool refreshments, and baked goods. Feel free to stop by before or after a soul-nourishing Sunday service, according to Google, the shop is only open between 7:30 am and 12:00 pm on Sundays.
Cpl Rays Coffee
Cpl. Ray Bevel was stationed in Iraq and was KIA on April 21st, 2007. The Bevels opened their first coffee shop in Andrews on December 30th, 2007, then later opened one in Odessa, and finally expanded to Midland. The coffee shops are in honor and memory of their son Ray Bevel!
Snuggled amongst boutique storefronts (there’s a bookstore nearby), the petite Wall St. location provides patrons a wonderful walk-up window experience ideal for those taking a stroll or exploring about downtown. They have a lot more than java too, especially on a hot summer’s day, don’t hesitate to try the milkshakes, slushies, and smoothies!

The friendly folks at Bean & Grape procure an elegant yet comfortable environment where guests have the opportunity to enjoy great coffee, a dynamic wine list, an assortment of craft beers, and delectable eats. Concerning the latter, good luck choosing between the sweet cream pancakes, eggs benedict, and gourmet omelets during weekend brunch hours; oh, and yes, mimosas are on the menu!
Black Rifle Coffee Company
A recent addition to the ever-blossoming index of Midland coffee shops, Black Rifle is on pace to make an impression with coffee sourced directly from the growing powerhouses of the world. Whether it’s the rich, full body flavors of Guatemala or the bold and robust flavors of Brazil, each bean is hand-sorted with care and attention to detail, then shipped from their farm of origin to be roasted in-house, and ultimately makes its flavorful debut upon each tasty sip of your morning joe.

Mulberry Cafe
A stone’s throw from Midland College and Tumbleweed Park, locally owned Mulberry Cafe carries more of a relaxed sit-down restaurant feel, and with that being said, has an extensive menu featuring specialty sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, homemade pastries, breakfast, organic coffee, beer, and wine. The shaded outdoor patio is dappled with furnishings while a step through the front door reveals eclectic wooden seating arrangements, art-adorned walls, and darling light fixtures exuding a warm familiar glow.
Blue Moose Coffee Creations
What this adorable little drive-through on Illinois Avenue may lack in size, it certainly makes up for in spirit, quick eats, and photogenic appeal. And in addition to concocting your usual early morning caffeinated favorites, Blue Moose is known for crafting specialty lattes infused with flavors such as toasted marshmallow, English toffee, and Irish cream – those drinks are named the Silly Moose, Football Mom, and Nutty Irishman, respectively.
