A Guide to Bozeman Coffee Shops
Wild Joe*s Coffee Spot
Nestled inside a century-old building on historic Main Street – which boasts independent theaters, book stores, boutiques, restaurants, and even a record store – this hallmark among Bozeman coffee shops features original rustic maple floors and a pressed tin ceiling above, along with an abundance of seating arrangements, walls showcasing a well-curated selection of art pieces, and the occasional live music performance. Their gourmet coffee beans are custom roasted by partner roasters, and when it comes to food, the kitchen crew at Wild Joe*s cooks up fantastic breakfast burritos, paninis, soups, and baked goods.
While a better environment for productivity would be difficult to imagine, aside from optimum functionality, the attention to detail that has gone into designing this welcoming abode with a delightful balance of old-world charm and modern utility makes it an easy go-to for daytime meetings with colleagues, long overdue coffee dates, or solo study sessions.
Treeline Coffee Roasters

Born in the mountains and tucked away on the Northside of Bozeman in the beautiful Mill District, Treeline’s roasting facility offers visitors an aesthetically gifted, bright open atmosphere with a stunning barista bar, petite but cozy lounge area, jewelry and handmade goods from local artists, and the ability to reserve a table during business hours for meetings and co-working.
Between the intimately sourced, intentionally roasted java beans, rotating selection of pour-overs, java flights, and fresh Colombian arepas and waffles, this is one unique experience coffee connoisseurs of all levels will appreciate!

Though Ghost Town’s primary facility can be found on the North-East side, they do have a cafe situated at the corner base of an upscale apartment building at the intersection of Black Ave and Olive Street. The cute shop is an inviting destination to enjoy a mug filled to the brim with soul-stirring morning joe, meet with friends, or set up at a window seat and let the world pass on by as you get some work done.
Rockford Coffee
Snuggled amidst the gorgeous buildings lining Main Street, Rockford’s glass storefront offers patrons unmatched views of the hustle and bustle of downtown, along with plenty of wooden tabletops and workbenches for sitting back and sipping on fresh java that’s been expertly roasted in-house. The Gallatin Valley was once known as the “pea capital of the nation,” producing 75% of America’s crop, the structure The Daily is housed within and the surrounding campus was formerly responsible for canning the 13,000 cases of peas being produced per day. Beyond breathing new life into what’s since been dubbed the Cannery District, the friendly folks behind the counter here pour a lot of love into serving sustainably sourced and meticulously roasted espresso and coffee, as well as fresh grab & go breakfast and lunch options and a tasty variety of pastries baked in-house from scratch. With gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options available, there are treats for everyone to enjoy.
